UNC Health is dedicated to improving the health and well-being for all in North Carolina.

Our desire is to extend awareness and education of important preventive efforts and fuel initiatives that generate impactful results. At the same time, we hope to inspire our teammates and others to become involved in meaningful work that make our communities a better place to live, work and play.

For Fiscal Year 2023, UNC Health’s primary charitable focus supports health and human services initiatives in alignment with Triangle-area Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) as well as initiatives that best align with UNC Health’s strategic priorities as one of our region’s top employers.

We take great pride in supporting community initiatives and health services through financial assistance, in-kind efforts and applied leadership. We understand our responsibility to provide underserved communities with access to quality health care and preventative care services, regardless of ability to pay. Ongoing collaboration and communication with community leaders, non-profit organizations and business partners and more ensure alignment to philanthropic and community relations efforts.
